Alex Chen

IB Mathematics and Physics Tutor

Alex Chen tutors IB Mathematics and Physics, helping students connect the two subjects instead of treating them as separate silos. His sessions combine clear concept explanations with worked examples, followed by guided practice on IB-style questions. Alex pays particular attention to the areas where IB students lose marks most often: setting out working clearly, using the correct notation and managing time across papers. He supports both Standard Level and Higher Level students, adjusting the depth of each topic to the course requirements. Regular short assessments track progress topic by topic, so revision in the final months stays focused on genuine weak areas.
