Hannah Brooks

IB English Language and Literature Specialist

Hannah Brooks specialises in IB English Language and Literature, supporting students with textual analysis, comparative essays and oral assessment preparation. Her lessons teach students how to build an argument from evidence: selecting quotations carefully, analysing language and structure, and writing conclusions that actually answer the question. Hannah gives detailed written feedback on essays, showing students how to move a draft up a grade band rather than simply correcting errors. She also helps students plan and refine their individual oral and written coursework components within IB academic integrity rules. Her aim is for students to write with confidence about texts they have genuinely understood.
